Card in a box.

Hello people.

The card i am sharing today is made by keeping in my mind upcoming friendship day and was made for a swap (my first swap actually 😋) but in the end, i ended up with keeping it with me only. Ofcourse going to make one for swap but First is always Special, you know. 😃

So here it is:

I decided not to use any readymade embellishments  (except half adhesive pearls, couldn't resist myself from using them). As i love my new Heidi Swapp paper stack, i have made this card using combination of two patterned papers from that stack. I fussy cut flowers from paper which were perfectly suitable with aqua green coloured paper. I have recently bought Just Rite 'choose joy' clear stamps and they are beautiful. I stamped rounded leaves design with distress ink and fussy cut it so that flower behind it can be seen. Then a bird and a flower were stamped (from the same stampset), painted and fussy cut and adhered.

(A bit dark picture due to low lighting)

Front sentiment is also from same stampset. Lastly in a fussy cut section, there are butterflies which i stamped and coloured and fussy cut and adhered.

Coming to die cutting, i got some die cuts with Cheery Lynn designs 'flourish left' die (need to check exact name), Marianne Design creatables die, butterfly cutout from impression obsession butterfly die and lastly, front sentiment base is spellbinders die set.

So here i am sharing some more pictures of it to get a better idea:

I hope you liked the post.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
See ya soon. :)

Instant layout

Hello. Today i am so so happy sharing this with you all. Actually my brother had a result of chartered accountancy yesterday and I thought to make a layout and surprise him if he clears it. And he wouldn't have cleared then i had to alter it. :p but he cleared and it's like a huge party going on. So so excited to share this with you.

So coming to this, its a complete inspiration of Nupur Patel's tutorial of heidi swapp paper stack and i tried it and could make it in an hour so a big thanks to her.

Here is what i created:

The sentiment are stampset of BoBunny, butterfly is an impression obsession die cut and wycinanka chipboard cutouts.

Friendship day cards on roll

Hello. Today i have some cards which I was wishing to make since long and one friend gave that opportunity. I decided to go for simple inside and beautiful outside (which is not my type ;) )

So here is the first one:

This is a simple card made from die cuts. Distressed outer diecut and sprinkled diamomd dust on whole die cut and to the borders of middle die cut too. You may get better idea in this photo:

Second card:

Kept this one a bit floral decorated and butterflies are made with texture paste and then painted it. That golden flower was actually a white one. I sprayed some golden on it.

And now the 3rd one. Excited for this:

It does not have that level of finishing but yeah, as a beginner i love the way it came out. Butterflies are textured with heidi swapp stencil and then coloured it. Base has been prepared woth lindy's sprays. Some closeups:

Size of all these cards is 5*7 inches.

I hope you liked the post. Thanks for visiting. :)

Mixed media layout with photo tutorial

Helllloooo. Finally I tried my hands on mixed media and i am so so excited to share this with you. First of all, thanks a ton to Jaya Ma'm who has inspired me by her tutorial and yeah she is awesome.

I tried this on a small 6*6 cardstock. This is how completed layout looked:

It is my first tutorial so please bear with mistakes. ;) Coming to how i made this, first of all i painted cardstock with gesso. Let it dried and sprayed lindy's crow's nest copper and jolly roger red.

Then applied liquitex modeling paste with brick stencil.

Again sprayed both the shades again and after drying, stamped graffiti texture stamps.

Look at the shine of sprays here

Now started with assembling my embellishments and lastly sprinkled some black colour and heart chipboards (painted in golden). I hope you like it. Some close-ups:

And ya i sprinkled diamond dust on flowers and on the border of sentiment to give it some shine and melting ice effect.

Thank you for visiting. :)

Embossed card (my first ever)

Hello people. Today i am here with my first ever embossed card by embossing folder which i have bought recently. Here it is:

Base is a plain white cardstock of 6*8 inches, then PP and again white cardstock. I embossed it with embossing folder and watercoloured a flower and some leaves. Then i embellished it with a red bow and flowers and at last my latest impression obsession die cut butterfly (which now i love a lot), painted it with golden acrylic paint and gave it a rough effect with fingers. Shadow die cut from the same die have been used to write a sentiment. Some closeups:

It was a demand to make waterfall card for 10 photos so I prepared it as an inside of card with two tags for journalling.

I hope you liked it. Thanks for stopping by and reading. :)

A big birthday cum love album

Hello. Today i am going to share my dream project. I had no idea how I am going to make this. I never tried a binder album before this but I learned a lot while making this. I made many mistakes and rectified it but ultimately it came out more beautifully than i even imagined. Here it is

This was an album of 11 pages (22 in total). Album cover was a chupboard sheet. I made this hanging at home from various left overs my mom gave.

Closer look:

Actually it was a birthday gift but the demand was to make it a lifetime album so keeping that in mind, i chose to write 'love memories' instead of birthday so it can be used over their lifetime.

Here is a video of it. It shows how it goes and it has been shot before photos because more than half of the album was to kept blank on demand.

I hope you liked it. Please leave comment for any suggestions. Thank you. :)

Accordion cutout card

Hi all. Its been over a month i have blogged as a busy june just passed with full of holidays and shopping. Now back to love and passion. Here i am sharing my one of the most favourite projects till date and its accordion cutout card. It's generally made from dies but I didn't want to buy it and I came across one handmade such card while surfing and tried to make that and it came out a beautiful one. I don't remember where i found it so unable to give credits.

So here it is.

This card was made on a special request of someone who wanted to wish her favourite boss "happy journey". And sticking to the theme, I decided to make tags just like a road map.

I have a video showing detailing of the card and how it goes. Here it is:

Going to post my biggest project in next post. Thanks for watching this space. :)
