A box mini album with photo tutorial

Hi.

Today i have something interesting to share with you all and yes, I have a photo tutorial too this time. So this is a picture heavy post. I hope you enjoy it.

This is how it looks from outside. Paper stack is Hello Beautiful Collection from Heidi Swapp. This album was going to travel abroad so i decided to go for flat decorations and for that, fussy cut flowers from same collection.

So here is tutorial:

Cut three stripes of 4*12 and 3 stripes of 4*12.75. Score 4*12 stripes at 4", 4.5", 8.5" and 9". Score 4*12.75 stripes at 3.875", 4.375", 8.375", 8.875". (7/8 equalls to 0.875)

It will look like this.

Now take each 4*12 stripe and keep a die like this and cut it.

It will result in this.

Now stick 4*4 portion of both stripes together which will result like this. We kept two squares of 4*3.875 so that box will close easily. Do this with other two too.

Close it like this.

And our boxes are ready. :)

Now to bind these three, u need a stripe of 4.125*13.25". Score this at 4.125", 6.125", 10.25", 12.25". If u want to add more embellishments inside then take a large stripe and score accordingly. I don't have a photo of it so sorry for that.

Punch 3 boxes on equal distance then keep each box in cover punch it. U can see the same in photo.

Size of patterned paper is 0.125" lesser by box size.

Bind boxes with ribbon or thread, anything you like. It will look like this.

So this is how your unembellished mini album will look like. First i decided to go for velcro but at last used pins to close album.

Some more photos of complete album:

I am sharing a clip here to show inside of an album.

I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching this space.

Hugs,
Chirali. :)
